How the Product Works
Fine lines and wrinkles happen when skin loses its ability to make moisture-magnet lipids called ceramides. Elizabeth Arden’s Ceramide Lift and Firm Day Cream replenishes your ceramide production and re-texturizes your skin for a firmer, smoother look and fewer wrinkles. It has an SPF 30.
The key ingredients are: octinoxate, oxybenzone, octisalate, octocrylene and avobenzone. - Long-Term Results
It does very little when it comes to providing an instant face-lift. After using it for a month, there was very little difference in the look of sagging skin.
Side Effects – Possible Irritant
This lifting cream is not for those who suffer from acne or oily skin. It’s extremely rich and thick on the skin. Those who suffer from acne should probably choose another product that is lighter and less greasy. Even though it says that it’s for all skin types, we found it to be way too rich for some skin.
Texture – Leaves Heavy Residue
This product had quite a few negative comments on Amazon in regards to its heavy texture. The cream was described as being way too rich for oily skin types. Some of the reviews suggested using this cream as a hand moisturizer instead.
Elizabeth Arden’s Ceramide Lift and Firm Day Cream is a very heavy moisturizer that leaves an oily residue on the skin. In fact, we found that it’s probably better to use on hands as it is way too heavy-feeling to wear under makeup.
Another negative about this cream is the smell. The fragrance alone would prevent anyone from buying it.
Overall, it’s a very thick cream that could only be beneficial for the driest of skin and people who aren’t sensitive to fragrance. The majority of the people who reviewed this product felt it was way too heavy for everyday use on the face.
The Bottom Line
This lifting cream doesn’t really do much as far as reducing the signs of aging or tightening sagging skin. It does very little when it comes to providing an instant face-lift. After using it for a month, there was very little difference in the look of sagging skin. The heavy texture made it almost impossible to wear foundation over this product. Most of the people who reviewed this product said it was not made for the average skin type. Only people with dry and cracking skin could benefit from using it.
